Genmaicha, Brown rice tea, a classic Japanese tea is essentially a mix of green tea and roasted brown rice. This blend balances the astringency of green tea with the nutty flavor of the roasted rice. Genmaicha is made with Bancha _ Green Tea. This has a warm and nutty taste. If one is looking for a tea that is less astringent but flavorful, Genmaicha would be perfect.

Method of Infusion:

In a kyusu ( Japanese teapot ) add 250ml of water heated at 90 degrees Centigrade. The leaves added is 3g per 50ml of water. Add the leaves accordinglyAnd let it infuse it for a minute. Pour into cups and serve.
